Dear Editor:
Meeker Elementary School is working with the Oneseed Foundation to partner with a sister school in Ghana, Africa. The students at Wisdom Ways Academy in Ghana are teaching us about their culture and we are teaching them about ours. Last Christmas we were overwhelmed with support at our fundraiser for Wisdom Ways. People in Meeker were so generous!
We are continuing to raise money so that the students in Ghana can have supplies for our sister school projects. We will be selling bundles of student made Christmas cards and student decorated mugs full of cocoa or cider at the Parade of Lights. Thanks to all of you who have supported us, and we look forward to seeing you at the parade.
