Dear Editor:
A Rangely native, U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant Cody Jackson, retired after serving for more than 20 years for his country, our country. Master Sergeant Jackson served multiple tours around the globe, including Iraq and Kuwait.
Master Sergeant Jackson deserved more than 59 words on page six. Being a Vietnam vet myself, you can see why I’m a little frustrated.
I’m not saying the other front page stories were not important. I am saying U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant Cody Jackson deserved more respect and recognition than 59 words and being buried on page six, for 21 years of service to his country. You had a chance to tell this young man’s story and you did not take it. Isn’t the county paper supposed to be about the people in the communities?
