Dear Editor:
On Feb. 18, Cisco, Brielle, and myself were involved in a car accident on Hwy. 139. We are now home and although Cisco has a long recovery ahead of him we are beyond blessed to be alive. We would like to thank the Rangely Fire Department, ambulance crews, Classic flight crew, Rio Blanco Sheriff’s department, Dispatch.
Utah gas employees and people that stopped to offer assistance.
Rangely emergency Room, doctors and nurses — all of the RDH employees. You all went above and beyond. I am so thankful for being a part of RDH.
We are incredibly moved by so many people in this community that offered or took care of all of our animals — picked up and delivered hay. Made sure our house was ready for our arrival. The building of the ramp so Cisco can use his wheelchair.
So many people that brought meals, put batteries in our truck, had it maintained and brought the truck to Grand Junction. The generous help in getting a motel while Cisco was in St. Mary’s. And the many friends that offered their homes for us and our families to stay during that time.
The Rangely Chamber of Commerce. The generous amount of donations was unbelievable and appreciated. Scout Energy, Cisco and I are so grateful for the company and employees for all of your support.
And last, but certainly not least the fire department for escorting us home with Cisco.
We love our community and can’t thank you all enough for everything you’ve done. We are truly grateful and blessed.
Thank you,
Cisco, Jeani Lucero and family
