Letter: Thanks from the Meeker Sportsman’s Club

Dear Editor:
The Meeker Sportsman’s Club would like to extend a big “thank you” to John Kobald, Local Access Internet, Ma Famiglia and Wyatt’s Sporting Goods for their recent donations toward our on-going fundraising effort. We have also recently received donations from several other community members. Currently we are nearly a third of the way toward our goal of $175,000 to purchase the range property. We welcome any contributions of funds toward this land purchase. We are determined to achieve this goal to secure the future of the Meeker Sportsman’s Club shooting range for current and future generations of shooting enthusiasts. The range is an important resource to Meeker and the surrounding area. The range is used by not only its members but the public as well at the many public shooting events hosted by the Meeker Sportsman’s Club. We truly appreciate the local generosity and support. Thank you!
