Shortly after 10 p.m. Monday, May 21, we had the misfortune of a ruined tire on our truck after passing through the construction zone on Highway 13. Fortunately for us, we were soon blessed by the presence and assistance of Deputy Davon Smith and his supervisor (whose name I regret not getting) of the Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Department.
