Letter to the Editor: Letter of thanks

Dear Editor:
Being a 50-plus year resident of Meeker, I have certainly been witness to the thoughtfulness of this community over the years. But, during a recent health setback, I experienced it firsthand.
I would like to extend a heartfelt “thank you” to everyone who sent cards, flowers, made phone calls and hospital visits throughout the past month. The road to recovery is a long one, but I continue to improve and appreciate the encouragement…
