Pioneers Medical Center would like to give our community of Meeker a “Heads Up” as we will be converting our phone system to an automated answering system on April 18.
The hospital has been experiencing an increase in phone calls and sometimes phone calls cannot be answered in a timely manner because staff is assisting another patient. This forces patients to have to call back, which can be frustrating.
To better and more quickly serve our customers, we will begin using an automated answering system, similar to what the Meeker schools and the Meeker Recreation Center use.
The new system will step patients through prompts to arrive at the patients’ desired department.
Our goal is to deliver the right phone call to the right PMC person.
We appreciate the community’s patience as we make this adjustment to better serve our patients and customers.
