Dear Editor,
With appreciation and gratefulness, the family of Dillon Hobbs would like to thank the community for the outpouring of support and assistance throughout the last several weeks. Cassi, John, Donald and Amy are especially overwhelmed by each person, group and organization that reached out to aid during this life-changing event.
Meeker is filled with so many incredible people, a blessed community that believes in showing up for others when they are in their greatest time of need. Thank you to every person who texted, called, emailed and prayed for this family. Thank you to every person who provided financial assistance, donated, and provided meals. Thank you for the food that was provided during Dillon’s celebration and thank you to those who served it. Thank you to all the people who helped set up and clean up before and after the services. Thank you to those who allowed facility usage, park access and trash services. Thank you to those who created beautiful items, images and words that will continue to allow Dillon’s light to shine on. Thank you to those who offered different financial opportunities through their businesses, donated flowers and coffee. Thank you to those who simply showed up just to support all those affected by the loss of Dillon.
It would take a novel to name each individual person, please know it is important to the family to let you know that you are known, and we are grateful.
