I would like to send out a great big thank you to those that have donated recently to our community food bank here in Meeker. Mountain Valley Bank’s Summer Festival was held last week and many, many items were collected. With the help of volunteers, we sorted and dated the 10+ boxes. Without volunteers, the food bank would not be as successful as it is.
Meeker’s Community Food Bank has been blessed beyond measure. We have received a $10,000 from Conrado Family Fund, monetary donation from Boots Campbell, JC and Alicia Watt donated a purchased and processed 4-H pig and Judy Eskelson donated elk meat. My apologies if I forgot anyone!
The Meeker community is truly a great place to live!
