Letter to the Editor: Thanks to the Huitt family

Dear Editor:
After reading the nice article in the Herald Times by Hallie Blunt about the Huitt family this past week, it sparked a very large amount of gratitude that I have for this wonderful family. For several years Frank and Grace Huitt have been very generous to the Rio Blanco County Jr. Livestock Sale, however today I am writing this letter for another reason. Realizing that Mr. Huitt does not expect to be publicly recognized for his good deeds but we still want him to know that his generosity towards our amazing youth organization does not go unnoticed.
For numerous years Frank Huitt has directly deposited his Rangely Town Council stipend money into the Rangely 4-H Community Council checking account. Over the years this lovely gesture has added up to thousands of dollars and has allowed the Rangely 4-H Community Council to assist our 4-H members and 4-H clubs in attending leadership conferences, clinics, workshops and to organize many community service projects. The Rio Blanco County 4-H program has many supporters and we want to sincerely thank them all for their kindness throughout the years, but today I would especially like to thank the Frank Huitt family for their help and support of the Rangely 4-H program.
