Letter: Tucker Memorial hosts golf tournament

Thank you to the Meeker Golf Association, Jim and Debbie Cook and all of the sponsors and participants in the fourth annual Coach Bob Tucker Memorial Golf tournament. The tournament is designed to raise funds to build a sustainable scholarship to benefit graduating Meeker High School athletes in many future years, who have demonstrated sportsmanship, integrity and upstanding character.
The funds raised are held in the Colorado Trust Fund with the Meeker School District. We appreciate the staff in the Meeker School District who provide support for administering the scholarship.
The town of Meeker has been tremendous in supporting this event. We will look forward to the fifth and final tournament in May 2012.
