Dear Editor:
I would like to voice my opinion about the shady recall election of Commissioner Gary Moyer. I feel he has done exactly what he said that he would do when he was campaigning for commissioner. He has said and done some things that apparently hurt the feelings of some of the snowflakes that reside in our great county. He has been accused of terminating some county employees which he CANNOT do by himself but ONLY by the majority of the commissioners. Unfortunately as a manager that is necessary on occasion if the employees aren’t performing correctly. He has also been accused of dividing the residents of the county. Again I call BS on this. He has made some hard decisions that aren’t popular with some in the community and especially in county government who have had their budget cut or their personal little empire changed. I have always thought that a recall was reserved for public officials who have done something ILLEGAL but not for hurting some ones feelings which is what this is!!! I can’t imagine anyone wanting to run for commissioner in the future if this is what they have to expect from a small group of people who can scream loudly when they don’t get their way. I encourage everyone to VOTE NO on this issue.
Thank You,
Frank Huitt
