Congrats to the graduates
Dear Editor:
Congratulations to our graduating high school seniors. Plus, kudos to our scholarship recipients given at the recent awards assembly.
The quality of education provided in Meeker means most graduates head to the next level of education. Scholarships provided by nearly every organization in Meeker help make this possible and provide tangible evidence that our community supports these students as they move ahead with their lives.
Scholastic excellence is always top of the list and our students have performed at an amazing level. Also important is a long list of other accomplishments. Music, math, art, science, culinary arts, industrial arts, and sports are important skills for future careers.
Thanks to the faculty headed by principal, Mrs. Amy Chinn. The teachers and counselors’ expertise and guidance provide the underpinnings of our youth’s success.
Finally, appreciation to the audience who were so very respectful. I didn’t see anyone texting on their phones or chatting to neighbors. They cheered every award recipient and remained through the entire ceremony,
Good job students, parents, teachers, and community. Onward graduates.

Thank you for your support
Dear Editor:
Greetings friends and neighbors, thank you to the ERBCHSD voters who voted for me in the recent PMC Hospital Board election. I appreciate it very much. I have very much enjoyed being able to serve our community as a member of the Board, and wish everyone at PMC the very best going forward.
Thank you to all our PMC employees who continue to make a difference every day in our communities’ health care. Each and every one of you are part of this fantastic team that has seen such remarkable success, and Meeker is so very lucky to have such a facility in our backyard that can boast of continuing excellence and outstanding leadership.
Thank you once again for your support!
