Boebert’s official record
Dear Editor:
The official record of Congresswoman Lauren Bobert is available for review online. Read the bills that her opponent is claiming prove that he is the one we should vote for. It is obvious that her opponent believes we are too stupid to compare his campaign statements with the actual language of the Bills voted on. I refuse to trust anyone that will only tell me part of the truth. https://www.congress.gov/most-viewed-bills
There are many examples so I picked the most egregious. The Fentanyl Trafficking Bill HR 4981. Congresswoman Bobert voted against it. Her opponent claims this is proof she is unworthy of reelection and does not mention she voted against HR 4981 because it would have extended the deadline on the Commission’s report to Congress from 270 days to 390 days without doing anything to stop Fentanyl trafficking. https://www.congress.gov/bill/117th-congress/house-bill/4981

Thank you student volunteers
Dear Editor:
I wish to express our appreciation for the hard work done by the students at our house on Meeker High School Give Back Day. They worked steadily without complaint and got our gardens ready for winter. And, hey! Digging dirt and pulling weeds isn’t so fun.
Our community can be proud of not only the fine academic standing, the outstanding sports and music programs, but also for the unselfish volunteering of our local high school students. Learning to give back to your community is also a good life lesson. Thanks to everyone who participated in this event.
