Makin’ Bacon Club makes fair plans

RANGELY | The Makin’ Bacon Swine Club met June 22 at the Rangely Community Pens for their monthly meeting. Members were reminded that several forms and stall fees are due at the extension office before the fair. Check to be sure you have everything turned in before July 23. All members need to be sure that they have transportation for their animals to the fair. The club voted to donate $50 for sawdust for the show ring at the fair. Demonstrations were completed by all members.
Torie Slagle, Jake Smith, Brittney Babineaux and club leader Debbie Smith purchased toys to donate to the Rangely District Hospital for children who are patients at the hospital.
