SAYING THANKS …
Rio Blanco County 4-H took time to thank the veterans of our county for their time and service. The Rangely 4-H Achievement Night for 2021 was hosted on Veterans Day and 4-H’rs served local veterans a meal and honored them for the holiday. In honor of the Rangely veterans, the Meeker VFW sponsored poppies for the Rangely 4-Hers to wear as a surprise to honor their guests for the evening. Each VFW was given a limited-edition teddy bear with the embroidered words “My Hero” and “Colorado 4-H Supports our Military” and a framed picture of Rio Blanco County 4-H members as a thank you. Rio Blanco County 4-H salutes all of our military veterans, thank you for your service. | Courtesy photos
