Meeker accepted into Colorado Main Street program

MEEKER I Thanks to a joint effort from local organizations, citizens and business owners, Meeker has officially been accepted into the Colorado Main Street program as a Candidate Community. The program has been customized for the town and is being referred to as “Meeker: Project45.” Meeker was the 45th town incorporated in Colorado.
The program helps local governments, organizations, and communities through technical resources and training in four areas—economic vitality, design, organization and promotion.
Meeker is the 18th Colorado Main Street community in the state.
