Meeker Chamber sponsors Carson and Barnes Circus

MEEKER I Again this year, the Meeker Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the Carson and Barnes Big Top Circus.
The circus is scheduled for May 21 with two shows, 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Ticket sales for the circus will begin in the coming weeks.
The chamber will be phoning all local businesses, offering blocks of tickets. The tickets may be used as a promotional tool, an employee bonus or as a donation.
Donated tickets will be used to take underprivileged children of the community to a performance of the circus. These are children or adults who otherwise might not be able to attend the circus.
We want to ensure our members that this telephone promotion is legitimate and one that the Meeker Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring.
The Carson and Barnes Circus has been on the road for 80 seasons this year. It is the largest “tented show” in the United States today, traveling approximately 230 days a year, playing two shows in each town every day.
The chamber asks that the community make this event a success by giving support to the telephone campaign, then come out to enjoy the circus.
