This Saturday is the annual Fall Festival downtown at Mountain Valley Bank. It’s a great opportunity to support local non-profit groups and visit with friends and neighbors before everyone goes into hibernation for the winter. Mayor Mandi Etheridge officially proclaimed it a community festival at the most recent town board meeting, so don’t miss it.
Saturday is national family health and fitness day as well, and the annual Scrub Shirt Classic 5K walk/run is a terrific opportunity to get out and get some exercise. Then go to the fall festival and reward yourself with some yummy food!
A simple request heard from many local residents, directed to our friends from out-of-state traveling Hwy. 13 between Rifle and Meeker: “Please slow down!”
