PRESS RELEASE
MEEKER | The Meeker Mustang Makeover (MMM) is proud to announce a change in its Board of Directors as it prepares for the 2026 Events. After seven years of dedicated service, co-founder Deirdre Macnab stepped down as President back on Dec. 31, 2025. A role she has held since the organization’s inception in 2019. Under Macnab’s leadership, MMM has grown into a premier event, successfully finding homes for countless mustangs while educating the public on the versatility of the mustang. “It has been an honor to watch this event grow from a small idea into a community staple,” said outgoing President Deirdre Macnab. “This board’s passion and expertise ensure that the MMM will continue to thrive for years to come.”
Succeeding Macnab as President is the organization’s former Vice President, Jane Turnburke, who was also a key figure since the inception of this event and brings years of experience and a deep commitment to the program’s mission. Joining the leadership slate is Laurie Bouzarelos, who steps in as the new Vice President. Bouzarelos has been instrumental in the organization’s outreach efforts and will oversee several key initiatives.
Rounding out the changes for the MMM organization are: Madi Ducey, Marketing Manager: Madi takes the lead on the marketing campaigns, overseeing social media presence across several platforms, and managing regional advertising to expand the event’s reach. Melissa Kindall, Executive Director: Co-founder Melissa Kindall who was part of MMM from 2019-2021 spent the last 5 years in retirement until rejoining as the Executive Director working closely with the organization as a primary contact, managing administrative operations, and strategic partnerships.
