Halandras and Day are beginning their second terms in office. Newly elected Town Council member Wendy Gutierrez, who was not available to be sworn in as she was attending economic development training on the Front Range, along with a few other Meeker business people, will be sworn into office May 3.From left, Meeker Town Administrator Scott Meszaros, Meeker Police Chief Bob Hervey and Town Attorney Melody Massih were sworn into office by Meeker Town Clerk Lisa Cook at Tuesday evening’s Meeker Town Council meeting. On April 4, the Meeker Lions Club installed new shelving units for the New Eden Pregnancy Care Center. New Eden asked the Lion’s Club to help them come up with more storage for items within the building, and the Lion’s Club raised money to purchase shelves. OPAL MUNGER PHOTO
