n First annual “Road Rash and Splash” mini-triathlon is Saturday, July 19 for ages 13 and over. Cost is $15 for individuals; $30 for teams of two or three. Register at the Rec Center. Registration deadline is 5 p.m., Friday, July 18. Course information is available at the MRC.
n Free Community Appreciation Day featuring food, live music, games and much more is July 19 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on the courthouse lawn.
