Meeker Recreation Center News: July 31, 2008

n The MRC swimming pool will close early at 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 1 and at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2.
n Adult CPR, first aid, infant/Child CPR recertification classes will be held Aug. 4-6 at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $25.
n Tiny Toes, dance and movement class for 2-3 year olds and their parent or caregiver, will be held Aug. 6-27 on Wednesdays from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Cost is $10.
n Jazz, Tap and Pre K-Kindergarten Dance Academies for all grades are in session. The program runs now through Nov. 9. The registration deadline is Aug. 7. Complete information is in the April-July brochure, or you may call the MRC for details.
n Adult Tap began July 22 and runs through Nov. 9. The class, which is for anyone age 18 and older, meets on Tuesday from 7:15-8:15 p.m. Cost is $40. Recital performance is optional.
n Cowboy Football Camp, benefitting the MHS football team, will be Aug 4 -6; fifth- through eighth-grade from 4:30-6:30 p.m.; ninth- through twelfth-grade from 6:45-8:30 p.m.. Cost is $20.
n Flag football for third- and fourth-grade boys and girls will be Aug. 6-7 from 6-7 p.m. and Aug. 8 from 9-10 a.m.; both days at the Sixth Street Field.
n Micro soccer for boys and girls ages 3 and 4 will be Aug. 5-21 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:45-6:30 p.m. at Paintbrush Park. Cost is $12.50.
