MEEKER | Meeker Cowboys volleyball team came out on top last week for homecoming. With two home wins the Cowboys remain No. 1 in the 2A/1A Western Slope League. The gyms were packed both Thursday and Saturday with cheering fans watching the Cowboys beat both the Aspen Skiers and the Plateau Valley Cowboys, winning both games in three.
The Cowboys had some big hitters Saturday against the Cowboys, with Emma Luce on the outside and Julia Dinwiddie in the middle. The game started with multiple ace serves from Callie Morlan.
