MEEKER I The Meeker-area community is invited to enjoy the many talents and accomplishments of local and area vendors on Nov. 6 and 7 at the Rio Blanco County Fairgrounds.
The Ladies Social Club of Meeker sponsors this yearly event, and it’s a great time to pick up one-of-a-kind gifts for the holidays and handmade decorations for your home.
The gift and craft show will be open from 4-8 p.m. on Nov. 6 and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 7.
There will be many quality gifts, home decor and holiday decorations. Vendors will be selling furniture, repurposed items, antiques and collectables, stained glass, handmade jewelry and accessories, soaps, hand-sewn, crocheted and knitted items, baked goods, Christmas decorations and wreaths, baskets, cards, original art and more.
The Meeker Christian Ladies group will be serving pulled pork sandwiches on Friday evening, and Saturday they will have pancakes and eggs for breakfast and chili dogs for lunch.
This is a great time to get your Christmas shopping done as you support the talented local crafters and artisans, see old friends and have a warm meal.
