RANGELY | Rangely District Hospital will offer a “Mental Health First Aid” course Jan. 15-16 in Rangely. The course runs Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for an eight-hour training certification. The course teaches participants a five-step action plan to assess a situation, select and implement interventions and secure appropriate care for the individual. Participants address risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems, builds understanding of their impact and overviews common treatments.
