MEEKER I Next week will be busy at Meeker Elementary School as the fifth-grade class offers its annual “Night at the MES Museum” on Thursday evening and its Scholastic book fair on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
The fifth-grade class invites the entire Meeker community to its annual “Night at the MES Museum” on Thursday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. This special “blast from the past” offers the students the opportunity to bring famous people to life in their museum.
This unforgettable night becomes even more magical because the fifth graders will be accepting coin donations at each of their exhibits to go toward a charity of their choice to help make a difference in the world.
The annual Buy One, Get One Free Scholastic book fair will be held on Wednesday and Thursday. The fair will run from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the elementary school library, 201 Ute Rd.
Books will be available for all ages, and all members of the community are welcome to peruse the books in the fair.
