MEEKER | The Meeker High School lady Cowboys hosted a fifth to eighth grade basketball camp teaching skills and games with the girls. These same girls will also be completing a summer skills challenge.
The team then traveled to Manila, Utah, and competed in their tournament playing teams from Wyoming and Utah ranging from 2A-4A schools. The girls went 3-4 on the weekend.
“The whole week was so much fun,” commented head coach Jamie Rogers. “There were nearly 30 girls at the middle school camp and in three days the growth was so awesome. The high school girls came out so strong Friday at their tournament. It was fun watching them pass and attacking the basket.”
