RBC | Mind Springs Health, the leading provider of mental health and addiction treatment on the Western Slope, is hosting two free Happiness and Resiliency Classes in Rio Blanco County on Jan. 16, 2020. The courses focus on the roles that character strengths, positive coping skills and resiliency play in our lives and how developing these skills in ourselves and our families can increase our happiness.
The first class will take place from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Mountain Valley Bank in Meeker, 400 Main St. The second class is slated for 2:30-4:30 p.m. at Colorado Northwestern Community College in Rangely, 500 Kennedy Drive.

Mind Springs Health will also offer Mental Health First Aid Training on Jan. 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Colorado Northwestern Community College, 500 Kennedy Dr. in Rangely. The adult Mental Health First Aid course is appropriate for anyone 18 years and older who wants to learn how to help a person who may be experiencing a mental health-related crisis or problem. Topics covered include anxiety, depression, psychosis and addictions.
