Nancy Johnson, designer and engineer for the lighting project at the White River Museum, was in Meeker last Saturday for an open house celebrating completion of Phase I of the project. Johnson spoke of the project and about the state’s only curio museum and the need to preserve the many stories of the area. “I wanted to create an experience with light and organize the amazing stories you have,” Johnson said. The White River Museum is open seven days a week 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
