Battle of Milk Creek anniversary
Please join us to celebrate three significant developments of the Milk Creek Battlefield Park on the 140th anniversary of the battle on Saturday, Sept. 28 beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Milk Creek Battlefield Park. There will be a presentation of the colors by the VFW, dedication of the new signage, celebration of the life and contributions of Joe Sullivan to the Park, and a presentation of how the monument to the Ute warriors came to be and its significance by Robert Chapoose.
