RBC | Rio Blanco County 4-H has 11 new Shooting Sports Certified Leaders. That’s right — 11 new certified leaders.
Over the weekend of March 28–30, all 11 leaders attended the three-day intensive certification training in Garfield County. Sam Tolley and Terry Wygant (pictured) from Rangely are our new shotgun leaders. Also from Rangely, Nick Manchester and Clay Sanburg are new .22 rifle leaders along with Daniel Olson and Jason Spieth from Meeker.
Archery gained new leaders in Amanda Kirkpatrick and Cynthia Arnold and new youth leaders Dawn Arnold and Taylor Kirkpatrick. Linda Masters got certified in pistol.
The addition of these new leaders will give the 4-H shooting sports program a great boost for the coming shooting sports year. Thanks also goes out to the new Shooting Sports Advisory Council who is providing great leadership for the program.
