After Birth Ball Saturday
MEEKER | Tickets are on sale for the 2012 After Birth Ball. This year the event will be Saturday, April 21 at the Fairfield Center in Meeker. Tickets are $25/adult, $10/kids 10 and under, and a reserved table of 10 for $250. Tickets can be purchased at the Meeker Chamber of Commerce at 710 Market St. Proceeds benefit the Friends of FFA nonprofit organization and support agricultural education in our community. MHS Drama presents Hairspray Friday
MEEKER | The Meeker High School Drama Club and International Thespian Society Troupe 1284 proudly presents the popular Broadway musical “Hairspray” Friday, April 20 and Saturday, April 21 at 7 p.m., and a Sunday, April 22 matinee at 2 p.m., at the Meeker High School Auditorium. Admission: $10 adults, $5 children, students, seniors.
RBC Fair Board meeting tonight

Circus is coming to Meeker May 14
MEEKER | The Meeker Chamber is excited to bring the Carson & Barnes Circus to Meeker! In the coming days business owners may receive a phone call from a circus representative named Shelby selling children’s tickets. These tickets can be used for children the business owners want to send, or for less fortunate children who might not otherwise be able to attend. If you have any questions after talking with her, please let us know at the chamber. The circus will be in town Monday, May 14 for two shows at the fairgrounds, one at 4:30 p.m. and one at 7:30 p.m.
