Rangely feels effects of tornado-like storm
RANGELY | Strong winds accompanied a thunderstorm which hit Rangely Tuesday evening. The tornado-like winds blew a roof off the Nichols Hall dormitory at Colorado Northwestern College and two trees fell on CNCC president Russell George’s home. President George was home, but uninjured. The heaviest damage occurred on the east side of Rangely. A power pole was knocked down behind Nichols Store, trees uprooted and debris strewn across town.…
