Horseshoe tournament

Fairfield grant/scholarship apps due
MEEKER | The Freeman E. Fairfield semi-annual trust grant application deadline is 5 p.m., Monday, April 2.  Applications may be mailed to P.O. Box 2302, Meeker, CO 81641 or delivered to Diane Dunham at 438 E. Market St. Mailed applications must be received, not postmarked by April 2.  Application forms are available from Diane or any Fairfield committee member. Also, senior scholarship applications are due no later than 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3.  They may be mailed to P.O. Box 2302, Meeker, CO  81641 or delivered to the front desk at First National of the Rockies. Again, mailed applications must be received, not postmarked, by Tuesday, April 3.

Landfill update
RBC | The RBC landfill coupon program is back for its third year. Residents should receive a coupon this week that waives the fees for one load of household waste and debris brought to the Wray Gulch Landfill. The back of the coupon details allowable waste and restrictions. If you don’t receive the mailing, the road and bridge department office staff will send you one. Call 970-878-9590.

Spring class still open
