Hwy. 13 construction nearly finished
MEEKER | Construction on Highway 13 between Meeker and Rifle is almost at its conclusion. This week, work will end on Wednesday by noon and crews will not return to the site until Monday, Nov. 30 to wrap up minor work items. The 12-foot width restriction has also been lifted.
ERBM closure due to COVID-19
MEEKER | Due to COVID-19 related staffing concerns, ERBM Recreation & Park District operations and facilities (including the Meeker Recreation Center) will be closed beginning Tuesday, Nov. 17, until further notice. More information, as it becomes available, will be posted at www.ERBMrec.com.
Little Points of Light virtual kick off
RBC | Join Horizons Specialized Services and Blanco Cellars & The little Cheese Shop for a virtual party on Thursday, December 3rd from 6-7pm. This event is free to attend. COVID-19 testing options
RBC | Rio Blanco County Public Health and Environment offers COVID-19 testing for all citizens who are symptomatic and/or have had a known exposure to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 and would like a test. Due to community spread, drive-up testing will now be offered Monday through Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. in both Meeker and Rangely.
The designated COVID-19 testing area is the South parking lot in both Meeker and Rangely. When you arrive, please remain in your vehicle and a Public Health nurse will assist you.
If you are in need of a COVID-19 test for clearance for travel or part of your preoperative guidelines, please reach out to Pioneers Medical Center, 970-878-9796, or the Rangely District Hospital at 970-620-3969.
