MEEKER | Several WREA members have received SCAM calls demanding payment and claiming that WREA will shut off power in 30 minutes for failure to pay a bill. If you receive one of these calls, PLEASE hang up and call WREA AT 970-878-5041. WREA DOES NOT ask for payment over the phone and has a written process for delinquent accounts.
Book club Sept. 12
MEEKER | The book club will be reading “A Pearl in the Storm” by Tori McClure and also choosing a banned book individually to read. We will discuss the books on Monday, Sept. 12 at 1 p.m. All are welcome to join in the fun.

PAC meeting Aug. 15
RBC | The White River Integrated Water Initiative (Initiative) Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) will be meeting on Monday, Aug. 15 in Rangely at the CNCC Weiss Conference Room. The meeting will run from 6 to 8 p.m. The PAC will review and finalize the Phase II Report and the Reach Reports as well as draft the Initiative’s Scope of Work for Phase III.
White River Integrated Water Initiative meeting
RBC | The White River Integrated Water Initiative (Initiative) will hold a public input meeting at the Buford Schoolhouse on Aug. 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. The purpose of the meeting will be to review the draft Scope of Work for Phase III of the Initiative. Curtis Keetch, USFS Blanco District Ranger, will present ideas for forest management work on the Upper White River.
