July 24 TANK concert canceled
RANGELY | Covid strikes again. We’re sad to announce that the Andy Clausen concert, set for next Sunday evening, July 24, has been canceled. Musicians on Andy’s current tour have come down with the virus, and we decided to play it safe and schedule Andy’s show for 2023. Apologies for any disrupted plans.
Historical society quarterly meeting
RBC | You are cordially invited to attend the July 2022 Quarterly Meeting of the Rio Blanco County Historical Society. The meeting will begin at 1p.m. on July 24 at the Old West Heritage Culture Center at 517 Park Ave. Please bring your favorite pot luck dish to share. In honor of Pioneer Day (July 24), we will be sharing our best recipes in a Silent Auction Bake Sale and a time foTr “Show and Tell.” If you have pictures or an artifact that you would like to show as well as any pioneer stories you would like to share, bring them with you!
Plan ahead for temp bulk water closure
MEEKER | The Town of Meeker Bulk Water Facility will be upgrading its computer system on Tuesday, August 2 and Wednesday, August 3.
During this time, the Bulk Water Facility will be closed for service and will NOT be able to deliver water. Please be sure to fill your tanks prior to August 2!
August book club
MEEKER | The book club will be choosing biographies individually to read. We will discuss the books on Monday, August 8 at 1:00 p.m. at Meeker Public Library. All are welcome to join in the fun.
