Annual Cast, Blast & Twang June 18
MEEKER | The annual Cast, Blast, & Twang — a free fishing, archery and shooting event open to all ages — will be held this Saturday, June 18 from 4-8 p.m. at 9 Mile Guest Ranch northeast of Meeker. Activities inclue .22 rifle and shotgun shooting, archery, fly fish casting and spin fishing. The event is free for all ages and no prior experience is needed. Gear, instruction and dinner are provided. Participants can bring their own fishing or archery equipment, but do not bring firearms as they will be provided. Participants over 16 years of age need a current fishing license to participate in the fishing events. Sponsored by RTS Hunting LLC/Visintainer, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, BHO Gunshop, Mule Deer Foundation, JML Outfitters and Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
