Rangeland monitoring workshop
rbc | Spend the morning of June 11 learning the new BLM requirements for monitoring grazing permits and how to use three simple monitoring methods: photo point, line point intercept, landscape appearance monitoring (LAM); followed by an afternoon of hands-on training guided by the NRCS, Forest Service and BLM. $20 per person at the door, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Piceance Creek Rock School House on June 11. RBC | The White River and Douglas Creek Conservation Districts and Rio Blanco County (County) are updating the Land and Natural Resources Plan and Policies (LUP) from 2016. The Districts and County are seeking Rio Blanco County citizens input on the updates. Please review the LUP updates by going to www.whiterivercd.com and provide your input by June 15, 2022 as noted on the website.
