PAC Meeting May 26
RBC | The Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) will be meeting on Thursday, May 26 at the Weiss Conference Room on the Rangely CNCC Campus. The meeting will run from 6:00 to 8 p.m.
The PAC will review the Phase II Report, the Reach Reports, hear the results from the four public meetings, and discuss priorities for the Phase III Scope of Work.
VFW announcements
MEEKER | The VFW and Auxiliary have a few announcements:
Community dinners at the VFW will resume in the fall.
Poppies will be available at the Meeker Post Office on Friday, May 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Meeker VFW Post 5843’s Memorial Day Celebration begins at the Circle Park bridge at 9:30 a.m. and heads to Highland Cemetery after that. All are welcome.
Limeade fundraisher at Nana Goose
MEEKER | Blake Rubin’s limeade stand is returning to 590 Main St. (in front of Nana Goose) on Thursday, June 2 from 12-4 p.m. It’s the fifth year for Rubin’s endeavor, and this year all proceeds to the Walbridge Wing for garden flowers in memory of his “G.G.” Nettie Modlin
June book club
MEEKER | The book club will be reading “Dinner at the Homesick Restaurant” by Anne Tyler. We will discuss the book on Monday, June 13 at 1 p.m. All are welcome to join in the fun
