Cheers! Welcome to the post-Thanskgiving stretchy pants edition of your Community News Roundup.
I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving Day and remembered everything you are thankful for this year.
We’re grateful for our donors to The Lyttle Project and our fiscal sponsor for that project, the Rio Blanco County Historical Society. Thank you for your support and your generosity!
Through the Colorado Media Project’s #newsCOneeds campaign, we have an opportunity to receive up to $5,000 in a matching grant. In other words, whatever we can raise between now and the end of December, up to $5,000, will be matched by the Colorado Media Project. Funds raised will go toward adding Jared Henderson as a part-time reporter. You’ve seen his work as a freelancer during the last few months and we’re looking forward to bringing him on part-time in January to do more. Help us meet that matching grant goal by donating any amount through the Colorado Gives donor page during December.
