RBC | The Ninth Judicial District Nominating Commission has nominated three candidates for a district court judgeship created by the retirement of the Hon. Daniel B. Petre, effective Oct. 1. Nominees Anne K. Norrdin and Tari Williams, both of Carbondale; and Scott W. Turner of Denver were selected by the commission on Sept. 21. Under the Colorado Constitution, the governor has 15 days from Sept. 22 within which to appoint one of the nominees as district court judge for the Ninth Judicial District (Garfield, Pitkin and Rio Blanco counties).
