MEEKER | Northwest Auto Sales and Services GMC is Meeker’s one and only vehicle dealership. Previously owned by Doug Overton, Northwest Auto is now in ownership of Doug’s son, Lee Overton, and partnered by Aaron Westin. Lee Overton became a part-owner of the dealership in 2020, and Westin a part-owner in 2021. And the team they have works to proudly provide Meeker with quality vehicles and services.
But there is a lot more than simple customer service behind that pride. Overton and Westin don’t just want to be a great business for customers, they want to be great employers. Fifteen locals are employed at Northwest Auto, and according to Kaysyn Chintala, the employee who was interviewed for this article, there is still potential for that number to increase.
Another mark of pride for the dealership is that owner Westin is a GM Certified and ASE Certified Master Technician. That is a huge boon, as most warranties require that a master technician be a part of any diagnostic and repair work a vehicle needs.
The owners of Northwest Auto wanted to use this opportunity to let our community know how thankful they are to be serving us, shine a light on how they hope to continue aiding in the positive growth of Meeker’s employment opportunities, and say congratulations to the newly graduated Meeker High School Class of 2023.
