Albert George “Slim” Urbanik, 87, returned to Our Heavenly Father peacefully in his sleep on Oct. 16, 2008.
He was born Sept. 14, 1921, in Gary, Ind., to Albert George and Anna Latka Urbanik.
In 1939 George came to Utah with the CCC where he was the first noncommissioned sergeant in the area.
