Obituary: Allie Creola “Granny” Shahan

Allie Creola “Granny” Shahan, 76 years young, of Meeker died April 27, 2013.
She was born to Tom T. and Alice Dillashaw in Spur, Texas.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Joe Shahan; daughter Lissa Shahan; and grandson Johnny Joe Whinery.
She is survived by: her brother, Tommie D. Dillashaw; a sister, Rebecca Greenberg; and her children, Susan Starr, Jeanette Clark, Karen Lenfestey, Beth Shahan, Bryan Lenfestey and Molly Hardy. She also has nine grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and many nephews and nieces – as well as her Meeker family, whom she adopted and dearly loved over the many years.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 2, 2013, at 10 a.m. at the Church of Meeker. A meal will follow graveside services at the Church of Meeker.
