Anneliese Neumeier “Omi” died Nov. 4, 2025, at SGMC in Valdosta, Georgia, at age 91, after surgery complications due to a heart attack. She was surrounded by family and love.
She was born the second of three children to Karl and Cacelia Bogner in Garmisch Partenkirchen, Germany, on June 5, 1934.
She is survived by her children Susan (Chuck), Mark (Jan), Glenn (Val) and Lisa (Charles); her grandchildren Mark Jr., David, Sara (Josh), Daniel, Layne (Shane), Chas (Haleigh), Leo and Chelsey (Matt); and her great-grandchildren Barrett, Aeddan, Connor, Cataleya, Christopher, Cadence, Caleb, Kamren, Keeton, Theodora and Owen.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Justin Neumeier; her sisters Victoria and Gertraud; and her grandson Ian (Meghan).
Cherished by all who knew her. She led a life well lived and will be forever in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
