Arola Ann Bergman, 70, of Montrose, Colo., died Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at her home.
Arola was born Jan. 29, 1945, to Roger Arlo and Mina Mae (McPherson) in Hayden, Colo. She spent her childhood in Craig, Colo., and attended Moffat County High School.
Arola married Charles Boren Bergman on April 15, 1966, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 11, 2004, in Montrose. She was previously married to Larry Wynn prior to her husband, Charles.
Arola had also resided in Swisshome, Ore., and then in Craig, prior to moving to Montrose, where she resided until her death.
Arola was musically inclined and enjoyed singing and dancing. She played the accordion, keyboard and organ. She loved animals, the mountains and sunsets, gardening and beautiful flowers. Arola was a story teller, wrote poetry and loved a good book.
Survivors include: her three sons, Arlin Kip Bergman, Arvin Lief Bergman and Arlis Raphael Bergman, all of Montrose; her five daughters, DeAva Lea Archuleta and Arna Rae Wynn of Delta, Colo., Crystal DeArlin Sanchez of Clifton, Colo., Annette LaDawn Kemming and Sabrina Arlette Gower of Montrose; two brothers, Milo McPherson of Craig and Roger McPherson of Corey, Colo.; 16 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Arola was preceded in death by her parents, both of her husbands, and one son, Billy Arlo Wynn.
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory of Montrose is assisting the family.
