Barbara Jean “Barbie” Purkey, of Meeker, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023, at her home. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024, at the Church of Christ, 904 Third Street in Meeker. Barbie loved color, so please feel free to wear brightly colored clothing. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Church of Christ in care of Grant Mortuary, 621 Yampa Ave., Craig, Colorado, 81625.
