Barbara was born in Craig, Colorado, and was happily married to Walt Ducey for 72 years and was a member of the Christian Church since 1959. She was preceded in death by parents Elvin Dutch and Winnie Estey and one brother, Bob Estey.
She enjoyed living in a Chevron camp house in the middle of the Rangely oil field for 27 years. There she raised three children: Debra (Mike) Lancaster, Alan (Crystal) and Russ (Liz). She had 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She loved them and was proud of them all. She did embroidery work and gave all of her grandchildren beautiful blankets.
She always had to have a puppy and one time had a Doberman, Jodi, that followed her everywhere — night and day she was on guard.
Barbara enjoyed watching some of her grandchildren learn to fish the White River — thanks to grandson Bryce Ducey.
She spent the winter months in Lake Havasu, Arizona. She was a tough but gracious lady to family and friends. Barbara will be deeply missed by her loved ones.
